Gantries are a combination of several linear axes to realize a multi-dimensional movement. In combination with an Igus surface gantry, a Z-axis specially adapted to higher payloads is used to handle weights of up to 25 kg.

In order to realize a load capacity of 25, Auconic combined a Z-axis designed for this purpose with an igus surface gantry. The resulting 3-axis system can be programmed and controlled as usual via the igus Robot Control
