High-Speed 3-Axis Automation for Fast Pick & Place Tasks

The igus LCA-DR1000-03 3-axis delta robot is designed for high-speed pick & place operations. With a working diameter of 1,000 mm, up to 96 picks per minute, and a top speed of 2 m/s, it offers a precise and cost-effective automation solution. Maximum acceleration reaches 28 m/s² with repeatability around 0.3 mm.

Control is provided via the optional igus® Robot Control, available as a cabinet version. The free software enables intuitive programming and integration with systems like Modbus TCP/IT, ROS, or Python. – ideal for flexible control architectures.

Typical applications include pick-and-place, sorting and stacking tasks on conveyor belts, as well as end-of-line applications. Thanks to its modular design and open interfaces, the robot can be easily integrated into existing automation systems.
